Beautiful Landscapes. Healthy Ecosystems. Stronger Communities.
Earth Stewards Alliance is a new nonprofit restoring native habitats across Muskegon and Ottawa Counties. We're just getting started -- and we want you with us from the beginning.

What We're Building

Native Gardens That People Actually Want
We believe beauty matters. Our gardens aren't just ecologically functional -- they're designed to be visually compelling. The kind of landscapes communities are proud to invest in and care for.
This is restoration that invites people in.

Hands-On Learning, Not Lectures
We teach by doing. Volunteers learn about native plants, soil health, and ecosystem connections while working alongside neighbors. Skills you can take home and use in your own yard.
No experience needed. Just show up ready to dig in.

Landscapes That Take Care of Themselves
Native plants need less water, less maintenance, and fewer inputs than traditional landscaping. Once established, these gardens work with the land instead of against it.
Less mowing. Fewer chemicals. More life.
Why It Matters
In Muskegon and Ottawa Counties, native habitat loss affects water quality, wildlife, and the resilience of our communities. We're working to change that -- one garden at a time.

Get in TouchThe Founding Story
Earth Stewards Alliance started with a simple idea: restoration should be beautiful.
Too often, native plantings look like afterthoughts -- messy patches that people tolerate rather than celebrate. We think it can be different. Gardens that restore habitat and look stunning. Projects that bring people together. Landscapes that communities are proud of.
We're a small team in West Michigan building something new. We're not pretending to have it all figured out. But we know the direction we're headed, and we're looking for people who want to help shape it.
Launching in 2026. Come be part of the beginning.
